Biography:
Carnage is a fictional supervillain appearing in Marvel Comics. He is primarily known as an adversary of Spider-Man and Venom.
Carnage is a sentient Symbiote, similar to Venom, but with a far more violent and sociopathic nature. The character bonded with serial killer Cletus Kasady, amplifying his sadistic tendencies to an extreme degree.
Carnage first appeared in *The Amazing Spider-Man* #360 (March 1992). The Symbiote was spawned from Venom and left behind in prison, later merging with Kasady.
